We are pleased to announce that Marius Thunæs has been hired as the new sales manager at Eagle Technology. The market has reacted very well to our business concept and the customer base is increasing by each month. We are very happy to tell that Marius is now part of our team and we look forward to having him on board, says CEO of the company, Roy Moberg.
Marius Thunæs is 32 years old, educated Nautical engineer at UIT (University of Tromsø) with a major in fluid dynamics. Marius also has a one-year degree in applied economics at Griffith University in Australia. Marius comes from a position at Slåttland Mek Industrier AS where he has worked as both a project engineer and salesman for almost 6 years. Marius also has experience from Vietnam, where he worked for 3 years to build up Slåttland’s engagement in the country.
In the last couple of years, Eagle Technology has built up an international business unit with focus on delivering technology and equipment within process and biotechnology to both offshore, marine, and land-based facilities. Our business model is based upon sales and project management from the head office in Norway and engineering services and production in Bosnia. A unique combination that ensures our customers good follow-up and quality at competitive prices. The appointment of Marius suits us perfectly, he will bring us valuable experience and expertise and enable us to follow up both existing and new customers in an efficient and professional way, says Moberg.
Sales and project director, Johnny Slåttland, has spent the last couple of years building up Eagle Technology’s organization and is very pleased with the new appointment. I know Marius’ capacity well from earlier and I am really looking forward to getting him on board as part of the team, says Johnny Slåttland. The number of inquiries and customer inquiries is increasing sharply, and through Marius we will be able to handle both existing and new customers’ expectations in a good way. Thunæs will formally take up the position on 6 April 2021.
